Two aldermen in Almere have left the municipal council in recent days. Micha Mos (GreenLeft) announced his departure on Friday, and Kees Ahles (Leefbaar Almere) submitted his resignation on Monday. They are stepping down immediately. Almere, the seventh-largest municipality in the Netherlands by population, will have to make do with five aldermen on the executive board for the time being.
