Twins Invite 22 Players on Minor-League Deals to Spring Training
The Twins included 22 non-roster players to assess depth and develop talent, with nine pitchers invited as the bullpen rebuild continues, GM Jeremy Zoll said.
- The Minnesota Twins invited 22 non-roster players to major-league camp, including top prospects Walker Jenkins, who finished 2025 at Triple-A St. Paul, and Kaelen Culpepper, a recent first-round pick.
- Still rebuilding the bullpen after last year's trade deadline, the Twins invited nine non-roster hurlers, including Dan Altavilla and Matt Bowman, to expand depth as absences may extend their camp looks.
- Other position players joining camp include Aaron Sabato, Orlando Arcia, Tanner Schobel, Kyler Fedko, Kala'i Rosario and Gio Urshela, while non-roster catchers invited are David Banuelos, Noah Cardenas, Andrew Cossetti, Ricardo Olivar and Pat Winkel.
- Pitchers and catchers will begin workouts in Fort Myers on Thursday, with the first full-squad workout set for Monday, allowing non-roster invitees longer evaluations in major-league camp.
- Several invitees are also on WBC rosters, including Altavilla , Bowman , and Urshela , who will leave camp partway through to compete.
