During the last 48 hours there were at least three violent incidents in Veracruz: a murder in Martínez de la Torre, the discovery of human remains in Coatzacoalcos and the location of two bodies in Carrillo Puerto, in addition to the murder of the former official.
The director of the inmate of Tuxpan was shot in the middle of the city on board his car.
