The President-in-Office Geraldo Alckmin sanctioned Law 15.508/26, which extinguishes the National Forest of Cristópolis, in Bahia. Created in 2001, the unit never had a management plan or advisory advice and was demarcated in the wrong municipality, on particular areas.
