Haber 7 - Lebanon's Minister of Public Works and Transport, Fayez Rasamni, stated that they aim to connect Lebanon to Syria by renovating railway lines, as well as to reach Gulf, Iraqi, and Turkish markets through the country's ports.
Lebanon has initiated steps to create a comprehensive trade network that will connect its railways and ports to regional countries via Syria. The project, which aims to open up to the Gulf, Iraqi, and Turkish markets, assigns a significant role to Ankara, and Lebanese Minister Fayez Rasamny is expected to visit Türkiye soon to request support.
Lebanon's Minister of Transport stated that they aim to connect the country to the Gulf, Iraqi, and Turkish markets via Syria by renovating the railways; and also to become a regional trade hub by increasing the capacity of the Beirut and Tripoli ports.
