The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) has released its August 2026 Motor Vehicle Statistics data! In August, 171,887 vehicles were registered, with Renault leading in car sales at 12.3%, and gray being the most preferred color at 41.5%. Hybrid and electric vehicles accounted for over 50% of new registrations, bringing the total number of vehicles to 34,911,879.
