The European tourist operator TUI has announced that next year the prices for holiday trips will be increased by an average of one to three percent.
Much costs a little more each year, the holiday is no exception. However, a political decision could dampen the price increase in 2026 – at least for air travellers.
TUI Germany CEO Benjamin Jacobi expects only moderate price increases for the 2026 summer travel season. "Holidays in 2026 won't be much more expensive than in 2025," Jacobi told the newspapers of the Funke Media Group (Saturday editions).
