Tuesday's letters: UCP should rebrand as separatist party

Danielle Smith blames vote-splitting for her party's defeat in Calgary-Shaw. In fact, the split that saw many voters turn to the NDP and the Tory Party and others is a consequence of Smith's efforts to keep separatists in her tent. Peter Guthrie, after all, left the UCP in a principled career-sacrificing protest.
