China Retaliates Against US Tariffs by Restricting Hollywood Film Imports
China is reducing the number of Hollywood films allowed to play in the country in response to U.S. tariffs, according to Bloomberg.
The China Film Administration stated, "The wrong action of the U.S. government to abuse tariffs on China will inevitably further reduce the domestic audience's favorability toward American films."
Despite reductions, American studios are unlikely to be significantly harmed as they have stopped pursuing the Chinese market.
