Trump said he cut ties with Tucker Carlson months ago over comments he found unacceptable, but stopped short of criticizing JD Vance for continuing to call the conservative commentator a friend.
Jewish host Sid Rosenberg asked Trump about J.D. Vance's decision to continue to designate Carlson as a friend, despite his statements that have angered Israel supporters and Jews, and warned that this could be a problem for Vance in 2028. Trump did not attack his deputy, but said of Carlson: "He's very inconsistent."
