- Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told the Wall Street Journal that "there is no clear understanding yet regarding the meeting itself or its potential agenda, although all three parties acknowledge the hypothetical possibility of such a meeting taking place."
- On Sunday, the Republican leader claimed negotiations were making "great progress," while targeting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy over attacks on Russian refineries that he said impact global crude rates.
- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy accused Trump of pressuring Kyiv into surrendering to Russia, as relations between the two leaders continue to deteriorate despite Trump's ongoing defense of his peace efforts.
