Hundreds of Tribal Students Begin 180-km March Towards Mumbai Over Poor School Facilities

A long march by tribal students from Nashik to the Raj Bhavan in Mumbai began on September 28. Student organizations and opposition parties across the state are on the streets demanding basic facilities in ashram schools, the closure of substandard central kitchens, the pending distribution of DBT funds under the Swayam scheme, compensation for Gadchiroli victims, and the resignation of the Tribal Development Minister.
