Trenton Woman Charged with Stalking Eminem After Security Found Her at His House
Prosecutors say Nicole Gwen Savage violated a court order and now faces a felony that carries up to five years in prison.
- A 46-year-old Trenton woman was arraigned Wednesday in 41B District Court on one count of aggravated stalking. Prosecutors allege Nicole Gwen Savage violated an existing injunctive order by visiting the Macomb County home of rapper Marshall Mathers, professionally known as Eminem.
- The existing injunctive order barring contact elevates this incident to a five-year felony, according to prosecutors. Savage allegedly disregarded that legal restriction by appearing at Mathers' property.
- Eminem's security team discovered Savage on the property and contacted law enforcement, who took her into custody. Macomb County Prosecutor Pete Lucido stated, "Everyone deserves to feel safe in their own home and go about their daily lives without fear."
- Magistrate Ryan Zemke set Savage's bond at $250,000 cash or surety, with no 10 percent option. If she posts bond, she must wear a GPS tether, possess no weapons, and remain within Michigan with no contact with Mathers.
- Savage remains in the Macomb County Jail in Mount Clemens pending further proceedings. She is scheduled to appear in District Court for a probable cause conference on Nov. 9, the next step in determining if the case proceeds to trial.
