NEWBURY–Newbury Common has 66 trees and nine of them are ash, prized by the invasive pest Emerald Ash Borer. The future of the trees was the subject of a selectboard-sponsored community listening session on Aug. 15 with chair Susan Culp and members Andrew Lee and Shauna Prime.
