An LGBTQ lobby was held at the Budapest Transportation Center before the Pride. Hír TV was contacted by an outraged employee of the BKK, who asked not to be named, who reported that they were sensitized by LGBTQ groups and were explained concepts such as what it means to be a "trans man" or what to think if someone claims to be "non-binary".
Before Budapest Pride, BKK employees received LGBTQ-specific and sensitization training, which was met with outrage by several employees.
