Trans girls can no longer join Girlguiding, organisation says
Girlguiding’s policy change follows a Supreme Court ruling defining ‘woman’ by biological sex; the charity has about 300,000 youth members and 80,000 volunteers nationwide.
- Girlguiding will no longer accept trans girls and young women who were not recorded female at birth as new members from December 2, 2022.
