SNCF strike: "We want everyone to have a train" for the 8 May bridge, assures Christophe Fanichet

The company states that customers who wish to give up their journey by TGV Inoui or Ouigo, despite their efforts to maintain trains, will have access to the exchange or to the free refund of their ticket.

"If we have to cancel some trains, we aim to offer each customer to travel on the scheduled day to his destination," promised Christophe Fanichet.

"We are far from a black week," says SNCF Voyageurs' CEO this Sunday morning, while a strike notice has been filed for the coming week.

In Ile-de-France, some RER and Transilien lines have already warned their users that traffic would be limited next week, due to a strike.

A massive strike is preparing for the SNCF and transport is expected to be severely disrupted between 5 and 11 May. Many holidaymakers who will benefit from the 8-May bridge will therefore be impacted.
