Staff reports A train derailment closed portions of  South Perry Avenue Friday afternoon. At about 3 p.m. Denison Police responded to a report of a derailed train near South Perry Avenue and West Crawford Street. First responders determined a trail hauling gravel left the track which caused other carts to also leave the track.
