A work accident occurred on Velenjska cesta in Polzela early this afternoon, killing a 41-year-old worker. While digging a hole to insert a large concrete pipe, the worker, who was standing next to the excavation, slipped into the hole and was covered in soil.
They tried to maintain life functions until the doctor arrived, but unfortunately, he was unable to confirm death at the scene.
