The government is continuing to bleed from the public hospital. Last July, François Bayrou announced new robberies despite repeated warnings from a forceless health-care staff, who now hope to increase the ranks of the September 10 Bloquons Tout movement, the first stage of a larger strike scheduled to take place in October. Whether they operate traditional trade unions or movements on social networks, calls to strike multiply at the end of the summer.
The inter-union meeting is held this Friday at the headquarters of the CFDT in Paris in order to set the course for a new political crisis in the social field. Several have already refused to participate in the negotiation on the abolition of two public holidays. All must agree on a day of action against budgetary rigour. But only some support the movement of 10 September.
