The authority has suspended work at three plants of the CATL battery factory in Debrecen after nine workers were identified with increased nickel exposure, the Ministry of Rural and Urban Development announced on Tuesday. On the same day, the Hajdú-Bihar County Government Office granted the occupancy permit for the first phase of the cell manufacturing building, but rejected the application for the second phase on August 19.
