Township Earns Clean State Audit Report
Vernon Township in Jackson County in August went through an audit with the Indiana State Board of Accounts. On Oct. 9, Beth Kelley, Deputy State Examiner reported that her department found no reportable instances of noncompliance. The clean audit result was shared with Township Trustee E. Scott Kovener and members of the township board.
