Town of Lunenburg residents asked to conserve water, school closed after dam breach

Emergency officials and the town are responding to a dam breach at Dares Lake, which serves as the town's drinking water source. In an email, Mayor Jamie Myra said residents and businesses connected to the water supply are being asked to immediately reduce all non-essential water use. Bluenose Academy will be closed on Thursday as a result of the breach.
