Town council approves water, sewer rate increases
MONTEREY – New water and sewer rates were approved by Monterey Town Council last Thursday, May 7.
They will become effective July 1.
The rate for water for two months will be $55 minimum for 8,000 gallons. Anything over 8,000 gallons to 20,000 gallons is $5.50 per 1,000 gallons. Anything over 20,000 gallons of water will be $3.60 per 1,000 gallons.
