Mystery Remains over Cause of Reality Star's Mallorca Death
The coroner has requested Spanish toxicology, police reports and witness statements as the exact cause remains undetermined.
On Tuesday, the East London Coroner's Court opened an inquest into the death of reality TV star Jake Hall, revealing a post-mortem examination could not determine the cause. Hall, 35, died May 6 following a collision with a glass door in Mallorca.
Area Coroner Nadia Persaud requested Spanish authorities provide toxicology results, police reports, and witness statements to assist the investigation. She also granted Hall's family 'interested persons' status, allowing them to examine evidence and question witnesses.
Friends and family paid tribute to Hall at his funeral last Friday, where former partner Misse Beqiri said her heart was 'shattered.' The star was best known for his decade-long role on The Only Way Is Essex.
Beqiri, who shares an eight-year-old daughter named River with Hall, wrote on Instagram that he was 'such a massive and special part of my life.' The family has requested privacy while grieving.
A provisional date for the full inquest has been set for December 7, 2026. The investigation remains ongoing as the court awaits further evidence from Spain to clarify the circumstances surrounding Hall's death.
