At around 6 p.m. on the 10th, a tornado-like phenomenon was spotted in the sea off the coast of Nakasone, Nakijin Village. Misaki Shimabukuro (42), a resident of the village who witnessed the phenomenon, said, "The wind was blowing from the sea, and the surrounding grass was swaying. It disappeared on the way to Kouri Bridge. I was scared of what would happen if it got closer."
