Sharon Laird of Holmes Beach is the grand prize winner of the Islander’s annual summertime Top Notch photo contest. She captured this May 31 photo of manatees in the Gulf of Mexico near 58th Street in Holmes Beach. There were six weekly winners in the contest who won Page 1 placement of their photos.
