- Authorities seized a revolver, a.303 rifle and a walke-talkie set at the site, identified two male cadres as Bari alias Rakesh, CPI area committee member, and Amrit, dalam member, both from Chhattisgarh, and found an unidentified woman cadre.
- Security officials said there were no casualties among security forces and combing operations have been intensified in Kandhamal, while police told PTI the identities of the remaining killed remain unconfirmed.
