Tomašević Presented the Project for the Construction of the New Maksimir

THE MAYOR of Zagreb addressed the public.

The vision is to have sports infrastructure for football, athletics, swimming, handball, basketball and futsal in one place, which will solve the problems of sports infrastructure that have been ongoing in Zagreb and Croatia for decades.

The City of Zagreb will hold a public tender this year for the construction of the Svetice sports and recreation center, which will also include the new Maksimir football stadium, Mayor Tomislav Tomašević announced today at a presentation of the project. The center will be worth more than 260 million euros, and its opening is planned for 2029.
