With an invitation in his pocket, Tom Van Grieken travelled to Washington DC after his New Year's reception in Ranst to attend the inauguration of President Donald Trump. Due to the cold weather, it did not go live as planned, but according to the Vlaams Belang chairman, it was certainly not a wasted journey. "I'm glad I experienced this moment in Washington."
