Tobermory Distillery has unveiled Ledaig Castaway, a limited-edition peated single malt finished in a combination of Caribbean rum and Mexican tequila casks – a first for the Ledaig range. Made on the Isle of Mull, the single malt combines maritime peat smoke with tropical flavour influences, including grilled pineapple, mango and citrus, alongside notes of agave, salted vanilla and warm spice, followed by a long, smoky finish.
