Collective labor agreement negotiations at Metro Istanbul, which is responsible for Istanbul's rail system transportation, have failed. The Railway-Labor Union announced the strike decision with a statement held in front of the Metro Istanbul General Directorate. It was reported that the strike date will be announced later.

Meeting in front of Metro İstanbul General Directorate in Esenler, members of the Railway and Business Union announced that a strike decision had been taken following the failure to obtain results from the collective bargaining agreement.
