- The State House announced the appointment on Tuesday in a press release by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser on Information and Strategy; she will succeed Professor Isa Hayatu Chiroma, whose tenure ends on January 9, 2026.
- At 54, Odusote brings international academic experience as a visiting scholar at Nottingham Trent University and holds a Ph.D. from the University of Surrey with research in public law and administration of justice.
