The reason for his expulsion from Parliament would be that Vornanen has received a final prison sentence.
The initiative has been signed by MPs from the National Coalition Party, the Social Democratic Party, the Greens, the Left Alliance and the Finnish Communist Party.
The case concerns the shooting incident involving Vornasen in front of Bar Ihku in Helsinki in April 2024.
