HAYS, Kan. – Fort Hays State improved to 11-24 overall and 8-17 in the MIAA with a 3-0 shutout of Emporia State on Tuesday (Apr. 7) at Larks Park. The Tigers scored single runs in the first, fourth, and seventh innings as Tucker Russell and Brett Jacobs held the Hornets scoreless. Emporia State, receiving votes in the latest national coaches' poll, moved to 27-9 overall and 14-8 in the MIAA.
