It was a Baroque palace in the 18th century, and also a group of rented apartments. Espartinas, soda, wine and sportswear were sold in the building's basement from the mid-19th century; and for a year, it was also the home of the Maravillas youth hostel, until the police forcibly evacuated and sealed it.
