A STRONG storm with gale-force winds and rain has hit Croatia and the region, and the Croatian Meteorological Agency is warning of the danger of lightning, hail and flash floods.

On Wednesday a violent weather change has shaken large parts of northern Italy. After the historically hottest summer since the beginning of the measurement records heavy thunderstorms, heavy rains and storm gusts caused the railway traffic as well as the public life partly to succumb.
A strong cold front has hit northern Italy, Slovenia and Croatia, and in the coming hours it will directly affect the weather in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
