A STRONG storm with gale-force winds and rain has hit Croatia and the region, and the Croatian Meteorological Agency is warning of the danger of lightning, hail and flash floods.

A strong cold front has hit northern Italy, Slovenia and Croatia, and in the coming hours it will directly affect the weather in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
