Three years after the start of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, and in the year of the entry into force of the ceasefire agreement, indications show that the agreement caused a sharp reduction in the rate of killing, but did not turn into a real path to ending the effects of the war or launching a comprehensive recovery process.
The cease-fire in the Gaza Strip came into effect on October 10, 2025, but since then violence has persisted with almost daily attacks by Israeli forces. Since the attacks of October 7, 2023 to today, both sides continue to fail to reach agreement on the next stages of peace.
