Muath J., a 28-year-old Palestinian national, was sentenced on Thursday for anti-Semitic violence by the Nanterre Correctional Court. His sentence is accompanied by a ban on French territory.
A 28-year-old man was sentenced on Thursday 22 January to 30 months in prison, 12 of which were suspended, by the Nanterre Correctional Court for beating a religious man with a chair in June 2025.
"The Correctional Court considered without a shadow of legal doubt that you had been the victim of gun violence by destination and anti-Semitic violence," said the president to Rabbi Elie Lemmel.
