Three charged after alleged abduction, stabbing in Melbourne

Officers responded to a call from a hire company about a car that had been stolen in Northcote about 9:40pm Sunday night. Police were able to track the vehicle using police helicopters while the Dog Squad followed the vehicle at a distance. A man was let out of the car at the intersection of High Street and Bell Street in Preston. The man suffered facial injuries and police believe he had been abducted and stabbed.
