Since the beginning of April, three cases of measles have been confirmed in adults in the Beja county, two of which in unvaccinated people. ASL has already vaccinated more than 120 people exposed to the virus.
In statements to the Lusa news agency, the doctor from the Local Health Authority (ASL) of ULSBA, Bruno Pinto Rebelo, revealed that the three cases of measles were identified in adults “between 30 and 55 years old”. Two of the epis god occurred in people who were not vaccinated and the other in an individual with the recommended vaccination regimen.
