The criticism was left this afternoon by Tiago Oliveira, after a gigantic demonstration on May 1st in Lisbon. With the labor package at the center of the fight, CGTP-IN called for a new general strike on June 3rd.
In Alameda, in Lisbon, CGTP leader insists that the work package is an attack on workers. In Jamor, UGT says it will not give in to the government's miseries.
Many Portuguese took advantage of the Workers' Day holiday to make themselves heard and there were thousands of people who left the street to join the celebration. In Lisbon, the usual manifests the one called by the CGTP-IN went through Avenida Almirante Reis, between Martim Moniz and Alameda D. Afonso Henriques.
