The Swedish Migration Board's forecast: Fewer people will be granted citizenship
The Swedish Migration Board expects that 23,000 fewer people will be granted citizenship this year, compared to the previous forecast. The reason is said to be new security measures. “It is of the utmost importance to examine these cases extra carefully,” says Maria Mindhammar, Director General of the Swedish Migration Board.
