A Santa Rosa man is scheduled to appear in court today after crashing into a power pole Tuesday, knocking out electricity for thousands of residents. Officers say 46-year-old Anthony Turnbull was found intoxicated near the scene. The crash also caused an eight-hour closure at Piner and Marlow roads while crews restored power. Records show Turnbull was previously convicted of felony DUI causing bodily injury in 2023.
