The government could introduce the 14th month pension gradually, on a weekly basis, over a two-, three-, or four-year period, depending on the performance of the economy, the Minister of National Economy told Index. He also stated that the MNB decides on interest rates, not the government. They expressed their opinion once, "there is no need to repeat it."
The government is working on introducing the 14th month pension, which could be done in 2-4 years, said Sándor Czomba, State Secretary responsible for employment policy.
