On Saturday, October 25, Chincoteague Island pickleball players held their third annual Picklepalooza, a charity fundraiser in memory of Leilani Brown, an avid pickleball enthusiast and member of the Eastern Shore community who passed away in 2023. Fifty players from the Shore competed in a mixed doubles round robin-style tournament using both the outdoor and indoor courts on Chincoteague.
