Senate Ag Committee Will Try Again to Move a Farm Bill

The 10-11 vote left the bill stalled as Democrats and Republicans clashed over how long states should delay new SNAP cost-sharing rules.

The Senate Agriculture Committee lacked enough votes to advance a recent farm bill due in part to partisan division over issues related to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.
