The Public Prosecutor ' s Office of Santa Cruz de Tenerife has requested a sentence of 3.5 years ' imprisonment for a man accused of renting two houses that were not his property. Alternatively, if convicted only for money laundering, the penalty would be reduced to 2 years ' imprisonment. In addition, the Public Prosecutor ' s Office requires the return of almost 2,000 euros to the two women affected by the fraud.
