The Polish Navy will receive the submarine HMS Soedermanland under an agreement with Sweden. The transfer is being reported by Swedish media, among others. The daily Dagens Nyheter notes that Stockholm is losing some resources, but will compensate for this through cooperation with Warsaw in the Baltic Sea. Currently, the only submarine in Polish service is the veteran ORP Orzeł.
