The representatives of Aš have decided to grant honorary citizenship in memoriam to nine US Army soldiers who lost their lives in the Aš region in April and May 1945 during the liberation of Czechoslovakia from German occupation. The documents, which inform about this in Czech and English, will now travel across the ocean to the families of the fallen.
